About Apolis Tea

Apolis Tea is us: Audrey & Alex. We first met in Alaska 15 years ago, where we both grew up. We both liked adventure and the look of each other. Thirteen years and a couple of kids later we started Apolis Tea. During our combined 25 years in the tea industry, we’ve learned a lot about tea. We’ve also learned the importance of developing long-term relationships you can rely on. This means we have some old-fashioned ideas about being prompt, available, and reliable. Every business has a reason for being, a purpose that guides its decisions and ultimately defines it. Ours is craftsmanship. Our craft is in the art of blending and the science of sourcing teas and ingredients. Our producers are craftsmen and women as well; together, we work to create noteworthy teas you will get excited about. The history of tea is as much about innovation as it is about tradition. We are always looking for new ingredients and sourcing from producers who work with interesting cultivars and use biodynamic or organic farming techniques. We promise that every tea holds true to tradition but also brings a little something special.

GINGER TWIST

• Flavor: orange, ginger, vanilla
• This comforting organic blend has black tea with ginger, orange, vanilla, and warming spices. Perfect for a chilly day in front of the fire. Excellent black but delicious with a splash of milk and honey.

SWEET CREAM EARL GREY

• Flavor: vanilla, cream, citrus
• We fused bright citrusy bergamot with creamy vanilla and just a touch of orange blossom in this black tea blend to create a totally different cup of Earl Grey.

ENGLISH BREAKFAST

• Flavor: jam, grain, smooth
• A wholly different sort of breakfast tea from our Irish Breakfast. This blend has no Assam but a base of Yunnan instead. It is smooth with a thick jammy flavor and a bright finish with notes of grape skin. Excellent black or with milk.

BLACKBERRY BERGAMOT 

• Flavor: ripe blackberry, citrus, tart
• This organic house blend of black teas combines juicy, ripe blackberries with the bright citrus flavor of cold-pressed bergamot oil. Excellent with milk and sugar; delicious hot; and showstopping over ice.

VANILLA CHAI 

• Flavor: cardamom, spices, vanilla
• Ingredients: organic black teas, organic ginger, organic cinnamon, organic clove, cardamom hulls, natural flavor, organic cardamom oil

MORNING GLORY 

• Origin: house blend
  Flavor: sweet, grapefruit, cantaloupe

• Ingredients: oolong tea, natural flavor, orange blossom, grapefruit oil

• Enjoy this juicy blend of oolong tea, cantaloupe, and grapefruit. It is slightly floral from a touch of orange blossom and delicious hot or iced. Smooth, sweet and easy to brew!

UBER TART INFUSION

• Flavor: cranberry, dark, tart
• So tart and so good. A blend of hibiscus and freeze-dried fruits, this herbal brews a deep fuchsia cup. Aronia & rosehip mellow the cranberry & hibiscus just enough so you can guzzle this super concentrated tea as is or with a bit of honey.
  
• Ingredients:  organic hibiscus, organic rosehip, organic cranberries, organic aronia (chokecherry), organic Cape gooseberry (goldenberry)

HONEY MINT

• Flavor: mint, honey, flowers
• What goes best with minty green tea? Honey! While we couldn't add actual honey, our tiny (but mighty!) osmanthus flowers have a honey-like flavor. Paired with a touch of orange blossom, this blend is light with a flowery aftertaste. 90% organic ingredients.

KONA COLADA 

• Ingredients Contains: Coconut, organic black teas, organic Cape gooseberry (goldenberry), organic coconut, natural passionfruit & coconut flavors, organic lemon oil
• A friend in Hawaii introduced us lilikoi margaritas made with bright yellow Hawaiian passionfruit - the best thing after a day in the sun. This juicy, refreshing tea blend is a tribute to the before times (kids and COVID, folks) with tropical passionfruit and a touch of creamy coconut. It is so smooth and refreshing, no sweetener needed! Drink it black or with a bit of coconut milk - also excellent hot!

STRAWBERRY FIELDS 

• A lush, fruity blend made specifically for iced tea with red, ripe strawberries plus the juicy flavor of cantaloupe & a just a whiff of spearmint. All three of those flavors are good but all together they are GREAT. Unique and refreshing, we made this blend especially for storytelling on the porch, visiting the farmers market, and afternoons at the splash park. Excellent hot too!
